A Day in the Life - YCP Music

"A Day in the Life" is an exploratory program for high school juniors and seniors interested in learning more about music programs within the School of the Arts, Communication and Global Studies at York College. Shadow York College music students throughout the day, observe both classes and music rehearsals, tour our professional music studios, and participate in social mixer opportunities with the Wind Ensemble, Chorale, or Rock Band.

High School Seniors may also complete their music audition during the program. 

It's an exciting time to be a music major at York College—join us and see for yourself! This program is for students interested in a BA in Music; a BS in Music (with Studies in Music Industry and Recording Technology); or a BS in Music Education, which each require an audition, as well as the BA in Music Production and Entrepreneurship, which does not require an audition.

Please note, this event is student-focused and parents should not expect to shadow music program courses with their student. Alternatively, parents may join us for a Campus Tour and Information Session in the Admissions Welcome Center, schedule a personalized visit with Financial Aid, or explore campus (our Starbucks location in the Humanities Building is a staff favorite!)
