2025 Impact York Application

The Impact York scholarship program invites students to make a difference in the York region as ongoing volunteers. Each Impact York student is part of the Changemakers Community, which provides them with resources and support as they brings students and community members together to raise awareness and support for issues that impact their campus and their local community.

Program Benefits:
The Impact York program has many benefits for the participants of program. These include:

Receiving an annual scholarship of $1,500 (for up to 4 years).
Participants will also be part of the Changemakers community, a network of York College student volunteers and service-based student groups.
Students will participate in team-based community service each semester.
Students will have the opportunity to live on York's campus in our Be the Change Living-Learning Community.
Students will participate in an Impact York summer orientation session specifically designed for our incoming cohort.
Students will enroll and attend the Be the Change First-Year Seminar, a course created to advance their skills as a dynamic volunteer.

Program Requirements:
In order to maintain eligibility for the Impact York scholarship, students will need to:

maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and remain in good standing.
be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student.
live on-campus.
upon enrollment, complete all documents required to begin team-based community service.

Priority will be given to applications received by March 15, 2025.
